Never Fail Pie Crust
Because I love you all, and pie too, I'm sharing this recipe. I got it from my favorite farmin' family in Iowa, the Dahls. Go pick some berries and enjoy!!
| 1 1/2 cup flour | 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar | |
| 1/4 tsp. salt | 1 small egg, beaten | |
| 3/4 cup shortening | 3 1/2 Tbsp. water |

| 1 tsp. sugar |

Cut shortening into flour, salt and sugar. Mix water, vinegar and egg and stir into flour mixture. Mix well and shape into 2 balls. Chill for 15 minutes (or up to 3 days). Roll out immediately or freeze for later use.
